GREAT NIGHT OF BOWLING!
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, LOOKING to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

When the writer of Hebrews used the word "LOOKING" it was so we could have a focus point to aim at. Just like in a game of bowling! You're not looking to behind you, or to the left of right. You're focusing where the bowling ball needs to go. But you still gotta get the ball there, you gotta learn from your mistakes, you'll need some coaching, you'll mess up a time or two and you'll become better if you're dedicated. 😃 You could even mentor someone else! The Christian life is really not that different at all.
Focus on Christ and put in the work!
