Springhill Avenue Temple extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends in the passing of Emily Friedlander Fink.

At our Sukkot celebration Rabbi shakes the lulav (palm, willow and myrtle branches) and the etrog (citron) in six directions (east, south, west, north, up and down — representing all directions. After the service we enjoyed time together under the sukkah with some yummy snacks!
And thanks to Danette for creating the lovely sukkah!
