Hey church!
As the hurricane quickly approaches our coastline please do not hesitate to let us know on the “church family” group within the Grace Table app or email [email protected] if you need any help with trees or placing a tarp on your roof.

As of now we are planning to gather together as normal on Sunday morning to worship King Jesus through song, Scripture, & sacrament. If that changes we will update you on here.

HUGE thank you to the amazing crews from B.L. Halbert International for donating their time and providing the resources to remove the old rotten wood from the posts, soffit, and fascia of The Kids Table building and replace with hardie board! This gets us one step closer to getting into our new home off Dauphin St.

It made it even more special to have three of our own Grace Table guys (Drew, Jordan, & Ben) who work for the company take part in it as well! Thank you men!

“To this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so I stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would come to pass: that the Christ must suffer and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.” -Acts 26:22-23

In Acts 26, Paul stands before Agrippa and explains that his hope rests on the promises God made to Israel and fulfilled in Jesus Christ. The Jews rejected this because Paul proclaimed that Jesus was the promised Messiah, suffering Redeemer, eternal King, and risen Lord who fulfills the story of Scripture from Adam to the New Covenant. Paul’s witness demonstrates that biblical orthodoxy is not merely believing the right things, but believing the truth that gives us genuine hope to stand because God has and continues to prove Himself faithful to His promises.

“Blessed is the one you choose and bring near, to dwell in your courts! We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple! By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas; the one who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with might; who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples, so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.” -Psalm 65:4-8

What a gift to gather together to sing, celebrate from the Scriptures, and receive the sacrament of communion where we boast in the person & work of King Jesus to glory of God!

“But Festus, wishing to do the Jews a favor, said to Paul, ‘Do you wish to go up to Jerusalem and there be tried on these charges before me?’ But Paul said, ‘I am standing before Caesar’s tribunal, where I ought to be tried. To the Jews I have done no wrong, as you yourself know very well. If then I am a wrongdoer and have committed anything for which I deserve to die, I do not seek to escape death. But if there is nothing to their charges against me, no one can give me up to them. I appeal to Caesar.’” -Acts 25:9-11

In Acts 25 we find a man unjustly on trail with every right to be bitter towards those who were accusing him. However, what we find in Paul is that though he had a desire for justice, he had a love for his fellow Israelites to come to know the Lord. He leveraged every opportunity, even unjust trails, to boast in the person and work of Christ before those who would hear. Christ in him, the Hope of Glory, put to death the root of bitterness and it gave way to a joyful boasting.
