We had a wonderful ReNEW Minister’s Conference today! President and CEO of ALCAP, Greg Davis, encouraged our pastors to continue standing for biblical principles and hold fast to a biblical worldview. Thanks to pastor Rocky Pugh of Emmanuel Baptist Church for helping with our worship and hosting our group.

Our chainsaw volunteers have been busy with around 11 local deployments and we have one more to go. It’s been a privilege to serve at the Metro Mobile Baptist Campus Ministries building at University of South Alabama and the Alabama Baptist Children's Homes & Family Ministries property in Mobile. Camp Whispering Pines is on our list next.

Currently we have a cleanup/recovery team from Baldwin/Mobile combined in Anderson, Indiana serving those affected by the flooding. They just arrived this morning and will return home Saturday. Please be praying for them as they minister to those they serve.

Next Monday, we have a feeding team leaving for Anderson, and they will return on the following Monday. This team is from Mobile with one volunteer from Baldwin joining them. Please be in prayer for them, travelling mercy and their ministry opportunities. There have already been 17 salvations reported in Anderson since the command center was set up, so the harvest is ready! Pray for opportunities to share the gospel.

New Pilgrim Baptist Church, located in Saraland, began in 1984. Dr. Charlie Williams has been the pastor for 21 years. Pray for Dr. Williams and New Pilgrim as they continue serving and reaching the city of Saraland with the Gospel of Christ.

Huge shoutout to the students from Metro Mobile Baptist Campus Ministries who helped us August 22 as part of the "See and Serve Mobile" event. They did a fantastic job cleaning out and reorganizing the DR shed/storage bulding. They also washed both the DR traielr and the Evangelistic Party Trailer housed at the MBN Ministry Center. Thank you students for all the hard work on a hot summer day. Have a great school year!

This one-day seminar in Mobile is designed for current and aspiring preachers and pastors—including men interested in and training for pastoral ministry or various forms of church leadership. This event is designed primarily to sharpen men who are currently preaching and to train and encourage those aspiring to preach in the local church. Those who teach in other capacities (adult Bible studies, women's ministry, student ministry, etc.) are welcome to register.
