Testimony time this week we have
Marshall Gardner 65 years old from Mobile, AL.
Was in addiction 35 years, met the Lord when I was 43. Been in recovery for 24 years as of October this year. Free from alcohol and all narcotics since 2001. I’m involved AA and I serve as a group leader for Celebrate Recovery at Wilmer Baptist.

Meet Lori Flynn

We are honored to introduce Lori, a woman with a heart for recovery, encouragement, and sharing the love of Christ with those who are hurting.

Let me introduce you to Lori Flynn!

I’m a certified recovery support specialist, peer specialist, (mental health) faith based support specialist, and case manager. My passion is to help people find recovery and give support to the hurting in anyway that I can. I have a passion to bring hope to the homeless by loving them where they are and encouraging them where they can be. I have a super handsome grandson and 2 beautiful grown daughters that all live in North Carolina. I was called by God to show women how to live in the world but not be of it. How to live biblically in a fallen world. I am humbled and honored to serve in this amazing ministry that is more like family!

We are thankful for Lori’s heart to serve and the hope she brings to others through her testimony and faith.

Annette Givens is the wife of Pastor Stan Givens of Northside Bible Church. She is a blessed mom of three adult children and grandmother to three with another grandbaby arriving in July. She enjoys Bible study, being with her family, and spending time with her Northside church family.

Lesson 6: Action

Change doesn’t happen by accident.
It happens when we take action.

In recovery, it’s easy to recognize the hurts, habits, and hang-ups… but healing begins when we do something about them.

Action looks like:
• Owning our part
• Letting go of what we can’t control
• Taking steps—even small ones—toward freedom

It’s not about being perfect.
It’s about being willing.

“Faith without works is dead.” – James 2:17

This week, we’re choosing movement over excuses.
Progress over comfort.
Freedom over fear.

If you’ve been stuck, this is your moment to take that next step.

Testimony time!!

Pastor Jimmy Wiggins.
Having suffered through the pains of addiction over 20 years, broken, homeless and hopeless; I had an encounter with Jesus Christ that changed my life forever. I have now served in ministry for the last 12 years. Pastoring two different churches and spreading the gospel at our local area faith based recovery centers. I have decided to follow Jesus and there is no turning back!

Lesson 5: TURN ✨

That’s where many of us find ourselves—exhausted, overwhelmed, and ready for something different.

Lesson 6 is about one powerful word: TURN.
