Upon these sandy shores as I watch the setting sun, I find myself entranced by the vibrant colors of red, orange, yellow, and purple that streak across the sky. Such a beauty and splendor as this likens that of a masterpiece painted, even the very waves that crash upon these sandy shores likens that of a lyrical beauty played upon a harp.

Oh, how peaceful and comforting it is. Comforting says I! For is it not the lovely maiden Serenity herself that comes unto us to bring us comfort? A way to know a calm during a storm? A way to know love when none is had? Oh, how wonderous and splendorous such a maiden Serenity is.

To see the beauty of nature, to hear it's very voice, to be told "Rest now my child. Know the peace and comfort I bring unto you. Lay down and rest your weary eyes as I embrace you in a love and peace not of this world and dream upon that dreamer's dream."

Upon these sandy shores as I watch the setting sun, I find myself entranced by the vibrant colors of red, orange, yellow, and purple that streak across the sky, I lay down on these sandy shores to drift off into that peaceful slumber as Serenity holds me close forevermore, forevermore...

Oh, how I had bared witness to many a storm that brought troubles with each one. To have stood up against it, to have withstood it, to have lived through it, and to have survived it.

Oh, how the troubles brought pain and sorrow upon oneself, yet do wounds not heal? Do sorrows not ease in time? Tis true enough. There are many scars, and may burdens eased so that one can start to move forward in life again. A way to learn, a way to live, a way to thrive.

Though the past may have likened that of a storm for the many tears that been shed, the future holds the healing of wounds and burdens eased that many seek. So I say this unto you all. Stand fast against the storms in life, for victory is possible.

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Good afternoon everyone, it is by unanimous administrative decision, we would like to inform you that due to family schedules of our leaders for this week we will not have a physical Celebrate Recovery today, Monday December 8, 2025 at Crosspoint church.

We are very saddened at this as we miss you all and yearn to celebrate our recoveries with each and every one of you. Please remember that sometimes family life may not match every schedule. We look forward to seeing you next week (weather permitting 🙏🏼) to pick up where we left off in our recovery lessons.

As a reminder please mark your calendar for 2 Mondays from today on December 22, we will be having our Christmas Dinner and Movie Night, to which all (including children) are welcome to attend.
