Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who gave us loving comments, cards, and cookies yesterday for pastor appreciation. On days like yesterday we are reminded why our family is thankful for you all as a church family.

My first year at Union has been a joy filled. We’ve seen an uptick in attendance for worship, Sunday school, and even recently, Wednesday night service. We’ve witnessed several give their life to Jesus and even more baptized in the past year. And I’ve seen lives changed and people growing closer in their walk with the Lord too.

My prayer is that this past year will be but the first of many years of joyful service to this congregation and community. Thanks for loving my family and I. Keep praying for us and we pray for you. Church, let us take courage in our daily living for the Lord, for we are not far from home.
