This Sunday, we dove into Amos 6:8-14 with our sermon, “Justice Into Poison.”

Amos delivers a devastating warning to a society blinded by its own wealth and security. The very things God intended to bring life—justice and righteousness—had been twisted into something toxic.
When we prioritize comfort over compassion and pride over obedience, we risk turning God's blessings into poison. It is a sobering reminder that external success means nothing if our hearts are far from God's heart for the vulnerable.

Let’s carry this conviction into our week. Take a moment today to honestly reflect on these questions:
1. Where has comfort blinded me? Are there areas where my personal security has made me indifferent to the needs of others?
2. What am I trusting in? Am I relying on my own achievements and resources instead of relying fully on God?
3. Am I poisoning justice? In what ways might my daily choices, speech, or attitudes compromise God’s call to love my neighbor?

God doesn't just want our worship on Sundays; He wants our lives aligned with His righteousness every day. Let's pray for hearts that break for what breaks His.

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day 🌸

Today, we honor the incredible strength, faith, and courage of mothers and maternal figures everywhere.

In our special Mother’s Day sermon, we looked back at the opening chapters of Exodus. Before Moses led Israel out of Egypt, God used a powerful network of brave women to save his life from Pharaoh’s decree:
-The fearless midwives who defied the king to protect newborn boys
- Jochebed: The desperate mother who built an ark of bulrushes, trusting God with her baby.
- Miriam: The watchful sister who strategically stood guard and navigated a rescue plan.
- Pharaoh’s Daughter: The compassionate protector who claimed an abandoned Hebrew child as her own.

God still uses the courage, instinct, and love of women to alter history and protect the vulnerable.
Thank you to every spiritual and biological mother shaping our future today!

Is our worship just "noise" to God? 🎶

In this Sunday's message, we dove into the piercing words of Amos 5:23—"Stop your noisy songs; I do not want to listen to your harps." It’s a sobering reminder that God doesn't just want our voices; He wants our lives to match our melodies.

When we gather to worship, are we offering true love and admiration from our hearts or a decoy worship we "put on display"? God tells us that true worship isn't found in the perfect chord, but in justice that rolls on like a river.

Let’s reflect together this week:
1. If God were to "mute" our Sunday morning songs, what would the "music" of our daily lives—our honesty at work, our patience at home, and our treatment of neighbors—actually sound like to Him?
2. Amos calls for justice to "roll on like a river". Where in our local community have we seen a "dry riverbed" of injustice, and how can we be part of God's "ever-flowing stream" to change it?
3. Are we using religious rituals to truly seek God, or are we using them to hide from the areas of our lives where He is calling us to repent and change?

Hello Church!

This week, in Amos 4, we see a heartbreaking cycle. God allows challenges—famine, drought, and hardship—not to punish out of anger, but as a megaphone to get His people’s attention. Yet, five times the refrain echoes: "Still you did not come back to me."
It’s a powerful reminder that God is more interested in our hearts than our comfort. He is constantly calling us home, even in the midst of the storm. ⛈️✨

Pause and Reflect:
Is there a "nudge" or a recurring challenge in your life right now that might actually be God calling you to lean closer to Him? 🙏

When things go wrong, is your first instinct to fix the problem or to seek the Face of the one who holds the solution? 🔍

Amos 4 ends with a call to "Prepare to meet your God." If you stood before Him today, what is the one thing you’d want to lay at His feet? 👣

Watch the full breakdown of Amos 4:1–13 and worship with us.
