How heavy is the call?

Jesus wept. He prayed, “Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me; nevertheless, not My will, but Yours, be done.” He sweat drops like blood under the weight of obedience.

Yet He didn’t quit.

Now we pray for God’s calling, God’s power, and God’s will—but when the weight of that calling comes, we complain about the very thing we asked for.

The call is heavy because the cross is heavy.

Stop asking God for purpose if you’re unwilling to carry the cost. The crown comes after the cross. The glory comes after obedience.

How heavy is the call? Heavy enough to crush your flesh—but never heavy enough to stop the Spirit of God
