“The God that made the world and all things therein, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

neither is he served by men's hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

We sometimes wonder how should we love our enemies and bless those who curse us? We also know that we are to love our neighbors as ourselves, as well, so we must be able to not forsake love and protection of others to love our enemies.

We can 1. Pray for our enemies; 2. Tell the truth about God; 3. Be humble and honest with much grace (for we were given grace); 4. Set boundaries where appropriate (this teaches that it is okay to set boundaries); 5. Forgive them in heart (hold no bitterness or resentment), and reconcile when safe to do so spiritually and physically for yourself and family (you cannot love and protect your family properly, otherwise); 6. Go the extra mile when asked, able, and if it does not harm you and your family. Harming yourself can hurt and harm your loved ones.

What are some other ways?

““You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.” Matthew 5:43-45

Blaming God for Unanswered Prayers to False Gods?

Confused as to why your prayers aren't answered and then blaming God? Relying on false gods, the universe, or anything other than the one true God keeps us from knowing Him. Seek the true living God, Jesus Christ!

“And he will say, Where are their gods, The rock in which they took refuge; Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, And drank the wine of their drink-offering? Let them rise up and help you, Let them be your protection.” (Deuteronomy 32:37-38)

“Turn ye not unto them that have familiar spirits, nor unto the wizards; seek them not out, to be defiled by them: I am Jehovah your God.” (Leviticus 19:31)

““Stand now with your enchantments, and with the multitude of your sorceries, in which you have labored from your youth; as if you might profit; as if you might prevail. You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels. Now let the astrologers, the stargazers, and the monthly prognosticators, stand up and save you from the things that will come on you. Behold, they are like stubble. The fire will burn them. They won’t deliver themselves from the power of the flame. It won’t be a coal to warm at or a fire to sit by. The things that you labored in will be like this: those who have trafficked with you from your youth will each wander in his own way. There will be no one to save you.” (Isaiah 47:12-15)

Some thoughts on prayer requests.

Sometimes, when we ask for general prayer on Facebook or work we don't always consider who all we are including.

Knowingly asking people who don't follow Christ or who are involved in the occult to pray for us can open demonic doors of influence.

If someone tells you they are a Christian, and they pray in Jesus Christ’s name, and appear to show godly fruit then do not worry. We cannot perfectly discern every person’s relationship with God.

But when we ask groups of people on social media to pray, and we know some do not follow Christ, and we may know some who are in the occult (we forget that they are also seeing the prayer request), then we are asking them to pray to ‘whomever’ for us.

Also, they usually make a comment, “Praying!” and we like or love it because it is nice that they are thinking of us, but we are not to ask, encourage, and like or love prayers for us, and others, that are made to false gods.

However, we can begin to change our prayer requests to specifically ask that only our Christian brothers and sisters to pray for us. ✝️

We can also confess any sins of not being more careful about who we have asked to pray. 🙏🏻

Testimony Clip - Delivered and Transformed

I knew Jesus Christ was asking if I was ready to follow Him. I questioned everything that entailed, and I was asked how my attempts to be my own little god were working out, they weren't. Agreeing to follow Jesus, I woke up the next day with chains of bo***ge breaking and began to feel an overwhelming sense of love and worth.

I went down a dangerous path of new age practices and Adderall abuse. The torment began with hearing voices and escalated to more. My first plea for help was to a psychic, leading to a minor exorcism at a Catholic church, which ultimately didn't work.
