Good Friday is behind us, today we rest on the sabbath along with Jesus's disciples. Having prepared the spices for his body on Friday evening, they waited, obeyed the Lord, and observed the ancient practice of stopping on the seventh day. Distraught and fearful, their great hope and King in a tomb.

Tomorrow shocking, unbelievable news - the tomb is empty, and an ever increasing line of witnesses claim they saw Jesus alive, walking, speaking, and even eating.

What does this mean for us 2000 years later? On Easter morning we celebrate the empty tomb, the Lord's Day, and explore the great hope of the resurrection.

Join us at Faith Fellowship Church of Fort Bend tomorrow at 10:00am.
