It’s International Day of Charity! ❤️

What better way to celebrate than by teaching our preschoolers that even the smallest act of giving can make a BIG difference! This Sunday is First Pantry Sunday, when Houston’s First–Sienna gathers food donations to support the Faith Center-Harwin Food Pantry. Through these donations, we’re able to help meet the needs of men, women, and children throughout the Houston area.

This Sun, Sep 6, we’re asking our preschoolers to help by bringing canned corn to donate! Let’s show our little ones that generosity is one way we can love and serve others. 💛

This Upcoming Sunday! 🌿🐾

This Sunday, our Bible story will come from Matthew 19 and Mark 10. Preschoolers will hear about a time when people brought children to Jesus, hoping He would bless them. When the disciples tried to keep the children away, Jesus welcomed them and reminded everyone that the kingdom of God belongs to children.

Preschoolers will learn that just as Jesus welcomed the children in the Bible story, He welcomes them, too, because He made them with worth and value! ❤️

This week, ask your preschooler to share a toy or possession that they value and explain why it is important to them. Then remind them that God values them even more because He made them with worth and value! 🦁✨

🌟 This upcoming Sunday in First Friends, we’ll be learning that we can love like Jesus, even when it’s hard!

Our preschoolers will discover that when we choose to love others, we show God’s love to the people around us. Jesus wants everyone to know that loving others makes us more like God and helps His love shine through us!

As you’re out and about this week, talk with your preschooler about times when it’s easy to love others and times when it can be a little harder. Remind them that they can love like Jesus even when it’s hard, and that God has a plan for them! 💛

Do you have a love for worship or enjoy being around preschool-aged children? 💛 We’d love for you to consider serving with Joyful Noise Choir!

Joyful Noise is an exciting opportunity for our Tiger through Kinderoo kiddos to learn about worship through music, build friendships, and have fun! 🎵

We’re looking for PATHMAKERs to help encourage our little singers and make rehearsals a fun, welcoming experience.

We’re so excited to begin Joyful Noise Choir this Sun, Aug 23! 🎵

Joyful Noise is for children in Tiger through Kinderoo classes (late 3s through Kindergarten) to learn about worship through music, build friendships, and have fun!

No registration is required—everyone is welcome to join as long as they are in the age group! 💛

Rehearsals will be held Sundays during the 9:30a service and Wednesdays during Equip Classes.

We can’t wait to see what God does through these little voices this fall! 🎶

This Upcoming Sunday in First Friends 💛

This Sunday, our preschoolers will be learning that they can trust like Jesus! 🥰

Through our Bible story, they’ll discover that God knows everything we need and that we can trust Him to take care of us. When we follow our leader, Jesus, we can learn to live like Him and trust that God has a plan for us.

Trust means believing that God will take care of you and do what He says He will do. 💙

Ask your preschooler this week: “What is something you can trust God with?”
