Some of us are frustrated because weâve been waiting⌠but weâve been waiting in the wrong place.
Not in the hallway.
Not standing in the doorway.
Not pacing outside, trying to peek into what God is doing next.
But God is calling us higherâto the upper room.
The hallway is full of distractions.
The doorway is full of hesitation.
Outside is full of doubt.
But the upper room? Thatâs where obedience meets surrender. Thatâs where you stay, even when you donât understand. Thatâs where you waitânot rushing God, not forcing doors, not moving ahead of His voice.
Acts 1:13-14 shows us that the disciples went up into the upper room and stayed thereâin unity, in prayer, in expectation. They didnât scatter when Jesus ascended. They didnât try to build something on their own. They waited.
And because they waited, Acts 2:1 says, âWhen the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.â That place mattered.
Some blessings arenât just about timingâtheyâre about position.
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us: âBut they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eaglesâŚâ Waiting isnât weakness. Waiting is preparation.
If youâve been feeling overlooked, delayed, or stuckâcheck where youâre waiting.
God never told you to linger in confusion.
He never told you to camp in fear.
He told you to go to the upper room and stay there.
Stay in prayer.
Stay in obedience.
Stay in expectation.
Because what God pours out next⌠you donât want to miss it by being in the wrong place.
Wait on Himâbut wait where He told you to be.
Join us in the upper room đđ˝â¨
Come expecting, come ready, come hungry for God.
