St. Francis Xavier Church

St. Francis Xavier Church Missoula, Montana's Jesuit Parish St. Francis Xavier Parish was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1873 and is still staffed by Jesuits and our lay colleagues.

The community has been in continuous existence since its founding and we are blessed by all the members of this vibrant place. While we honor and cherish our past, we are a parish that continues to seek new ways to be more than just a Sunday respite. Francis Xavier has gained a reputation in Missoula for well-planned and well-executed Eucharistic liturgies, including beautiful liturgical music.

Join us for Scripture, meditation and a reflection – sharing our faith!
An invitation to join “Challenge” - a commitment of just 10-15 minutes a day to pray and meditate on scripture. Then reflect in prayer, with a small support group based off of the ‘SEEL retreat’ which will meet weekly from Noon to 2:00 pm in the Parish office dinning room beginning Tuesday, September 8th. For those who have done the “Challenge Book” & “Vision Book”, we are starting the “Mission” Book which has the same format which will begin Wednesday, September 9th 10:00 to 11:30 am meeting in the Parish office dinning room.
