Our youth group is thrilled to host a special screening retreat featuring the film Triumph of the Heart — the moving true story of St. Maximilian Kolbe, the Franciscan priest who offered his life in exchange for another prisoner at Auschwitz during World War II.

💜💛💚 Our Youth are ready to serve YOU at their 4th Annual Mardi Gras 🥞Pancake Supper on Tuesday, February 17th at 6pm! It’s sure to be a good time! No set cost for the meal but donations are welcome 🤗

⚜️Mardi Gras, or Fat Tuesday, has long been a tradition in the Catholic Church as the last day of feasting before the solemn season of Lent begins. Historically, it’s a day to use up rich foods like butter, sugar, and eggs, which were often forbidden during the fasting of Lent. Pancakes, made from these ingredients, became a popular way to prepare for the season of penance. Today, we continue this tradition as a reminder to enter Lent with intention and preparation, marking the beginning of a period of spiritual renewal and sacrifice. ⚜️

The Church celebrates the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God on Thursday, January 1, 2026, a Holy Day of Obligation. All parishioners are encouraged to begin the New Year by gathering in prayer and honoring Mary, the Mother of our Lord.

Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM.

Please note that Father Isaac will be traveling out of the country at this time. We are grateful for the presence and ministry of visiting priests who will be celebrating Mass with us.

Thank you for your understanding and for keeping Father Isaac in your prayers during his travels. Let us entrust the New Year to the loving intercession of Mary.
