Tanya’s story is such a beautiful reminder that when God says He works all things together for good, He really does.

When COVID closed doors around the world, God opened others. BSF’s move online made it possible for people to study God’s Word who previously could not, including women in parts of the world where gathering to study the Bible isn’t something we can take for granted.

Here in Mission Viejo, we are incredibly blessed. We can gather openly each week, Bibles in hand, and study God’s Word together. It’s easy to forget what a gift that is.

But even here, there are people who want to study God’s Word and face barriers that make an in-person group difficult. Illness, work schedules, caregiving, family responsibilities, transportation, or simply a season of life that makes getting to a weekly class hard.

BSF Online is there for them.

And that raises the wonder: Who do we know who might be waiting for an invitation?

As we study Romans together, Tanya’s story is a pretty incredible picture of Romans 8:28 in action. God can take something as disruptive as a global pandemic and use it to carry His Word across borders and into homes that might otherwise never have been reached.

We’re not just part of a BSF class in Mission Viejo. We’re part of what God is doing through His Word around the world.
