This week we welcome Jill Rogers, the most faithful audience member of the musical Rogers family and long time Crossroads member. God has been faithful to see her through a colorful adolescence, 25 years of marriage, 20 years of homeschooling, and a lifetime of crisis and abundance. He used all of that to cultivate a contagious love for God’s word, trust in His ways, and delight in His people. Jill is currently thriving in her master's program at Talbot’s Institution for Spiritual Formation.

This Sunday we welcome back Justin Takiguchi. Justin serves as a full-time missionary with YWAM Circuit Riders (CR), an evangelistic organization that exists to share the Gospel and to train others to do the same. Justin oversees CR’s SoCal ministries and trains CR staff in biblical studies. Justin also grew up at Crossroads!

The world tries to convince us to believe lies that mar the image of Christ in his beloved, adopted children. In this Sunday's message, we will explore the truth about our identity as believers. Based on one of Paul's prayers in Ephesians, we will see how we truly are called and empowered to live for God's wonderful purposes.

Pastor Dave is a foster adoptive dad from Long Beach. After being in full time ministry for 17 years at one church, he now advocates for kids in foster care, and inspires and empowers churches to answer the biblical call to care for orphans. Dave has been married to his wife Kahryn for 20 years, and has 4 children, ages 8 to 16! (Pray for him, his oldest just started driving!).
