Nearly 500 years ago, the Christian church was corrupted by many false teachings. A man named Martin Luther led people back to the teachings of the Bible. His work, and that of his friends, is called the Reformation. Through Luther God restored the church to purity of doctrine and a new life of faith in Christ. The doctrines of the Lutheran Church are not new. They are the teachings of the Bible.

Thus the Lutheran Church is not a new church. It is not a sect or cult. It is a church whose teaching is based on the words written by the prophets of the Old Testament and the apostles of the New Testament. The Bible tells us about Jesus Christ. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church is located at 325 Randolph Street in Mishicot. Join us for weekly worship on Sundays at 9:00 am, followed by Sunday School and Bible Study at 10:15 am, or on Monday Evenings at 6:30 pm. During the Lenten season worship with us on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm, followed by soup and sandwich dinners at 6:30 pm. Also join us for Holy Week services on April 9th for Maundy Thursday worship at 6:30 pm, April 10th for Good Friday worship at 1:00 pm or 6:30 pm, and on Easter Sunday for worship at 7:30 am or 10:00 am, with Easter Breakfast served between services at 8:30 am. “He is not here, he has risen just as he said.” He is risen, INDEED!

Starting Point - What is it?

This class is a 9-10 session “starting point” for those wanting to know more about what the Bible teaches. It is designed for those wishing to join as members of St Peter’s or would like a refresher on the basic truths of God’s Word, as we believe, teach, and confess them as a church.

Classes begin Sept 14th, at 7pm (following Monday worship). Please reach out to Pastor Stuebs to let him know you would like to attend before August 31st. Thank you!
