There is men's basketball tomorrow.
Please note that the below rules apply:
Pickup Basketball Rules
Arrival & Schedule
• Doors will be open from 9:00 – 9:15 AM.
• A Bible study will be held from 9:15 – 9:45 AM.
• Game time is from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
• Players must arrive by 9:15 AM to participate. If you are not present by 9:15 AM, you will not be eligible to play that day.

Game Rotation
• Games are 6 minutes long.
• The first 10 players to arrive start the game.
• If there are more than 20 players, then the winning team stays on the court to play 2 games, while the loosing team will play 1 additional game before rotating off.
• Anyone who “teams up” before entering the court moves to the back of the waiting line.
• This rotation continues so everyone gets a turn to play.
*When more than 20 players are present
• Teams play 2 games on Court A, then move to Court B for 2 games.
• After Court B, teams go to the back of the waiting line.
Scoring
• Inside the arc = 2 points
• Outside the arc = 3 points
Ball Check / Possession
• The ball is checked at the top to start play.
• After a rebound or steal, the ball must be cleared behind the 3-point line before a team can score.
Fouls
• No referees. Players call their own fouls.
• Be honest and respectful.
• If a call is disputed, “shoot for it” to decide possession.
• Play hard, call it fair, and move on.
Sportsmanship
• No swearing, or trash talk (on second offense players will be asked to leave the gym).
• No tolerance for arguments.
• Arguments involve 2 or more people.
• All parties involved in an argument will be asked to leave the gym.
• Involved players will have one chance to return the following week.
• A second argument will result in permanent expulsion from the church Saturday ball.
