Our parish Pilgrims of Hope Retreat at Belmont Abbey was a beautiful and grace-filled day.
Together we prayed, reflected, walked in hope, and renewed our hearts during this Jubilee Year.
Grateful for our families, who said “yes” to journeying together in faith.
May we continue to walk as pilgrims of hope in our daily lives. 🙏✨

Welcome to the Medhanie Alem Ge’ez Rite Catholic Community in Charlotte! We are a vibrant and welcoming congregation dedicated to serving our Lord and fostering a strong sense of community among our members. Rooted in the rich traditions of the Ge’ez Rite, we celebrate our faith through the beauty of our liturgy, music, and cultural heritage.

Our church is not just a place of worship; it’s a home where families come together, friendships are built, and faith is deepened. We offer various programs and services, including Mass, prayer gatherings, and community events, aimed at nurturing spiritual growth and providing support to one another.

We currently hold Divine Liturgy on Saturdays at 10 am at St. Vincent de Paul Parish Church.
