☘️ Volunteers Needed! ☘️
As many of you know, St. Patrick's will be hosting a Fried Chicken Dinner on the 4th of July, and we are looking for volunteers to help make the event a success!
This fundraiser will help support needed building improvements at St. Patrick's while also benefiting the Minonk 4th of July Committee. Events like this are only possible because of the generosity of volunteers who are willing to share their time and talents.
Whether you can help for an hour or for most of the day, every helping hand makes a difference. Please take a moment to review the available volunteer opportunities and sign up where you are able.

Volunteer Times: Morning Prep - 8am - 11am
Chicken Dipping - 10am - 1pm
Chicken Fryers - 10am - 1pm
Morning Cleanup - 9am - 11am
Lunch Servers/Bussers - 11am - 2pm
Food Line Servers - 10:30am - 1pm
Afternoon Cleanup - 12pm - 2pm

I wanted to get this posted early so we can start spreading the word!

I recently joined the Minonk 4th of July Committee, and somehow — probably because I can’t say no when food is involved — I was asked if I would help put together a chicken luncheon fundraiser. So… here we are!

This event will not only help support the Minonk 4th of July Committee and our community celebration, but it will also benefit the ongoing renovations at St. Patrick’s Hall.

Pre-sale tickets will be coming soon, and only 250 meals will be sold, so you’ll want to grab your tickets early once they become available!

Be on the lookout soon for both pre-sale ticket information and a volunteer sign-up. We will definitely need some extra hands to help make this a success!

Good afternoon St. Patrick’s Parishioners,

Please join us this evening as we celebrate the 5th Sunday of Easter.
Our Mass Intention is for Shirley Durfee, our Lector is Kelly Anderson, and our Collection Counters are Bonne Durre and Bob Baker.

This Sunday, our Second Graders will make their First Holy Communion. We ask that you keep these young children in your prayers as they receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the very first time—may this be the beginning of a lifelong relationship with Him.

In this week’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us: “Love one another as I have loved you.” As we celebrate First Communion, we are reminded that the Eucharist is the greatest sign of that love—Jesus giving Himself completely to us. Just as these children come forward with open hearts, may we all be renewed in our own love for Christ and one another.

We look forward to celebrating with you!

Good morning! Join us this evening as we celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Easter—also known as Good Shepherd Sunday.

On this special day, we are reminded of the comforting image of Christ as our Good Shepherd—one who knows us, calls us by name, and leads us with love, even when we may lose our way. It’s a beautiful invitation to trust more deeply in His guidance and to listen for His voice in our daily lives.

Our Mass Intention is for Larry Hill. Our Lector is Susan Ryan, and our Collection Counters are Tim & Becky McNamara.

The All-Parish Meeting providing an update on the merger of our parishes has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 28th at 6:00pm at St. Ann’s Hall in Toluca. We look forward to seeing you there!

Good morning! Today we celebrate the 3rd Sunday of Easter. Our Mass Intention this evening is for Eva Carvish. Our Lector is Leta Janssen and our Collection Counters are Hollie Kearfott and Donna Hartzler. Just a reminder again, Mass has changed to our Summer Hours - 5:15pm.

In today’s readings, we are reminded that even when we don’t always recognize Him right away, Jesus is present in our lives—guiding us, providing for us, and calling us to follow Him more closely. May we open our hearts to see Him more clearly this week.
