Palm Sunday Potluck! We started off with a service project packing groceries for Sojourner clients going home, then talked about how to make sense of the triumphant tone of Palm Sunday. After all, it's a rough week that Jesus is entering!

What if we think of the Palm Sunday processional as a direct, organized response to the militarized procession of Pilate on the other side of Jerusalem? What if triumph isn't so much who you have power over, but who you walk alongside?
