In a unique way, the Pilgrimage of Hope invited the faithful of our diocese to step away from the routine of daily life and journey together in faith. Walking nearly 90 miles, participants united in prayer, entrusted their needs to Our Lady, and sought renewal through Christ and the Eucharist.

Experiences like this reflect the broader mission of the Office of Evangelization—to accompany individuals in encountering Jesus, growing as disciples, and being sent forth to share His love.

The Diocesan Ministries Appeal (DMA) helps support this mission by making opportunities for spiritual renewal, formation, and evangelization possible throughout our diocese.

During the Jubilee Year of St. Francis, a plenary indulgence is available not only to pilgrims but also to the elderly, the sick, and those unable to leave home.

By praying the Our Father, the Creed, and other prayers while offering up their sufferings, they too may participate in this grace‑filled year.

Across our diocese, individuals and families turn to Catholic Charities in times of hardship, seeking guidance, healing, and hope. Whether through counseling, pregnancy support, or crisis response, each encounter reflects the Church’s commitment to uphold the dignity of every person.

Moments like these reflect the mission of Catholic Charities - to accompany those facing life’s most difficult situations with compassion, care, and faith.

The Diocesan Ministries Appeal (DMA) makes this ministry possible, providing the primary support needed to serve hundreds of individuals and families each year.
