VBS at Open Door Baptist Church in Clermont Florida runs each weeknight during June 8–12th—Monday through Friday, starting at 6:30 pm each night. Participation is FREE!

In a world filled with worry and confusion, kids need to know there is a God who cares for them. At “Emerald Crossing” VBS, they’ll journey through Ireland’s lush landscapes, exploring the powerful words of Psalm 23. They’ll discover the life of the shepherd-king David and will learn how to cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation in God’s Word through a relationship with the Good Shepherd.

Vacation Bible School (“VBS”) is a week-long event that is focused primarily to kids and caters to their special interests and point-of-view. Each year the church features a new, uniquely themed curriculum. Set in the early evenings, the program is convenient for parents to drop their kids off right after work and go grab a bite. In all, the program is two hours each night, for five nights with a closing program the last night of the week.

The objective of VBS is to teach kids values-based, biblical lessons while they experience fun games, engaging skits and great music. Simply put—VBS teaches kids in an atmosphere of outrageous fun. The program is geared for children aged 4-12 and divided up into age-appropriate groups.
