Listening to God—He Knows How to Bring Joy Into Your Life 🙌🌻

A few years ago, I was driving past Stanley Pond Farm in Eustis when I felt a clear prompting from the Holy Spirit: “Go in and meet them. You’re meant to be yoked together.” I didn’t know what to expect, but I obeyed.

That day, I met Sunflower Bob and his lovely wife Suzi. What followed was nothing short of a miracle. Over the past three years, we’ve built a friendship rooted in faith, joy, and love. The memories we’ve made together are a testament to what happens when you listen to God’s voice and follow His lead.

“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy.” — Psalm 16:11
God knows exactly who and what we need. When we listen, He leads us to joy beyond our understanding.

We had the joy of hosting a beautiful Friendsgiving celebration for a group of about 40 young adults for The Lakeside Church. The evening was filled with laughter, music, delicious food, and heartfelt fellowship. With the fire crackling and the stars overhead, it was the perfect setting for connection and community. It’s inspiring to see how Lakeside is raising up the next generation—creating space for young adults to grow in faith, build community, and make a lasting difference.

We’re always honored to be a space where people can come together, share stories, and make lasting memories. Thank you to everyone who made the night so meaningful! God be the glory.

It was a small but fun group for Created to be Creative this month. We tried napkin decoupage on thrifted vases from Unforsaken Treasures Resale Shop. It was such an easy craft but very useful if you want to coordinate a party or event. You were Created to be Creative!

We spent a wonderful evening on Friday learning Mo Mydlo's family spaghetti sauce recipe and canning it with Debbie Piper. Don't miss next month's Bible study. It's a must-attend event! You were Created to be Creative!

This is why we do what we do. Looking back and seeing all the lives we get to sow into, with the guidance and help from Jesus. A decade of partnership supporting the Man Training program @ Unforsaken Women Corp. We honor Tommy, Mo, Sarah and the whole staff and volunteers that dedicate their time and effort for a great cause.
