Todays message:

Deuteronomy 6:5–9 (often known as the Shema) is a central passage in the Bible that calls believers to love God wholeheartedly, keep His commandments, and integrate His teachings into every aspect of daily life, both privately at home and publicly in the community.

The passage outlines this mandate across five core instructions:

Wholehearted Devotion (v. 5): You are commanded to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength.

Internalization (v. 6): His words and commandments must first be internal and anchored in your heart.

Discipleship (v. 7): His teachings must be actively taught to your children and discussed constantly—whether sitting at home, traveling, going to bed, or waking up.

Reminders (v. 8): His laws should serve as physical reminders, bound on the hands and placed on the forehead (the literal practice behind traditional Jewish tefillin).

Marked Spaces (v. 9): God's words are to be written on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, marking your home as a space dedicated to His ways.

Worship changes the atmosphere because it changes us. When we lift our voices, our eyes shift from what’s around us to the God who is above us. “God inhabits the praises of His people” (Psalm 22:3), and tonight was a reminder that His presence meets us when we make room for Him.If your heart feels heavy, worship anyway. If you’re tired, worship anyway. If you’re grateful, worship even louder. Worship is where chains break, peace rises, and God strengthens what’s weak. Keep praising — He’s closer than you think, and He’s working even when you can’t see it.

Tonight was a powerful reminder of what happens when women gather with open hearts and expectant faith. Morgan carried the vision for this night — a time of prayer and worship where God would move through healing, restoration, and freedom — and we watched that very thing unfold. The presence of God was unmistakable, and the unity in the room was something we won’t soon forget.Cross House Farm was honored to host this gathering and to support the women in our community. We’re grateful for every woman who showed up, worshiped boldly, prayed deeply, and created an atmosphere where God could work. What happened tonight is only the beginning, and we’re excited for all that God is stirring next.
