🇺🇸 REMEMBERING SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, Faith Outreach Ministry pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families, first responders, military members, and communities forever impacted by that day.

We remember the courage of those who ran toward danger to save others. We remember the families who faced unimaginable loss. And we remember how our nation came together in prayer, compassion, courage, and unity.

As we reflect, may we never forget the power of faith, love, and standing together in times of uncertainty.

🙏🏽God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

Today, we pray for continued comfort for those who still carry the pain of September 11 and for peace and protection over our nation.

On behalf of the Varlack family, we express heartfelt gratitude to our global Church family for the flood of love, prayer, and support that has been poured out to them during this time. Your kindness and encouragement have been a great source of strength and comfort.

A celebration of Bishop Varlack’s life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. ET at Peerless Church of God of Prophecy, 3301 Peerless Road NW, Cleveland, Tennessee. An interment will follow.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, August 14 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, August 15.

Arrangements are being organized through Jim Rush Funeral Homes. Additional information will be shared on this page as it becomes available.
