When the Weight is Too Heavy

​We often hear about "strength" as if it’s a constant state of being. But the story of Jeremiah—one of history’s most resilient figures—shows us something different. In his darkest hour, the pressure was so great that he cried out, "Cursed be the day I was born!"

The Lesson:
Whether you are leading a family, building a career, or navigating a personal desert, there will be days when you feel like you’ve failed or that the mockery of the world is too loud. Jeremiah shows us that being chosen by God doesn't mean you won't have "broom tree" moments.
​True resilience isn't the absence of pain; it's the courage to be honest about that pain while staying tethered to your purpose. You don't have to "fake it" to be faithful.

One edge cuts away the lie that we must be perfect to be used; the other edge carves out a heart of iron.
