Serg. Daniel Estabrooks 1835-1900 has lain for 122 years in an unmarked grave at Oak Hill Cemetery. Today, May 19, 2022 we honor him and his service to our country during the Civil War from 1861-1865 with a marker provided by the US Dept of Veterans Affairs. We thank Wayne Haddock, a descendant of Serg. Estabrooks, and the staff at Oak Hill for working together to honor Daniel Estabrooks.

A huge thank you to the Association of Oak Hill Cemetery for accomplishing one of the on going “todo” list projects. This was an expensive endeavor but such a great improvement for the cemetery.
Please stop by and see the new road that encompasses the 2nd Addition of the cemetery. No more loose gravel, pot holes, rain water collectors, and deep ruts when driving.
Oak Hill is looking better each season with family taking a bigger interest in maintaining graves and the addition of new outside help in maintaining and doing small things to help.
Thank you to all our families at Oak Hill and to the board and volunteers who make a difference each day.
