Hello all, this is Pastor Terrell of Beacon of Hope. How are you all doing?

I haven’t wrote a post for Beacon in a long time and I know you may ask why.

My answer is I have been seeking God through my Journey and struggles.

Just to bring you all up to date on my health, it’s been up and down. I have been back on taking chemo treatments for the last six months and the doctors added a medication called Keytruda to my treatments as well which is a immune builder but we know what chemo do to the body and it’s a constant FIGHT.

My Wife has been a real Blessing to me and our family taking charge of everything keeping the family going which is a lot on her, I mean A LOT.

The Church which gas been back open for the last six months has been growing Spiritually and in numbers!!

We are open every Sunday from 3pm to 4pm and God has given Mother Henreen who has been a pillar to Beacon before it even cane to be has stepped up beyond measure for the Kingdom and because one whom if I’m not able to make it has step in to lead and it’s been a lot of help to keep the Church going.

1st Sunday,
we have Communion, Worship and Testimonials service.

2nd Sunday,
we have been going throughthe book of (1Cor.) and God has been opening up the eyes and giving understanding to the Body of His Word. It’s been amazing seeing the Love and growth of the believers by us staying focused on just the Word of God!!!!

3rd Sunday
We go over the Word again along with Prayer, Testimonials and Worship.

4th Sunday
We have Fellowship meal. Same hours each Sunday from 3pm to 4pm.

Good morning Beacon of Hope Family. First of all I truly thank our Lord and Savior for giving me the strength to encourage you all with His Word.

I would like for us to read and really meditate on (Roman 12:1-2) which is a Plea to Believers and letting us know we are able to complete the Plea by TRUSTING IN HIM.

Good morning Beacon of Hope Family. How are you this morning?

This is the first Sunday of June and I would Love to lead you with the Scripture for Communion which comes from 1 Cor. 11:23-32.

“For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment. Good morning Beacon, I truly thank the Father for another beautiful day in Him.
