Founded in 1988, CBE International works to eliminate the dominance and abuse of girls and women resulting from theological patriarchy portrayed as biblical. Addressing power imbalances, CBE promotes the biblical message that God calls women and men of all cultures, races, and classes to share authority equally in service and leadership in the home, church, and world. CBE collaborates with global
pastors, churches, institutions, and NGOs to eliminate sexism, racism, misogyny, gender-based violence, and human trafficking; to raise the status of women; and to promote human flourishing. We educate and advocate through online multimedia resources (in many languages), journals, blogs, podcasts, radio spots, articles, videos, and audios in addition to local chapters and yearly conferences.
