🌟 Have you ever wondered what it really looks like to show up for your community in a moment of crisis?

Meet Sharon Abel, Executive Director of the Groveland Emergency Food Shelf, and hear their powerful story firsthand. In this Sunday Forum presentation, Sharon shares what it was like on the frontline during Operation Metro Surge — and how Plymouth Congregational Church partners with neighbors, community members, and organizations to meet needs as they arise, in real time, with real heart.

What does it mean to steward our resources justly — especially when some of that wealth is tied to histories of stolen land and enslaved labor? This is the question Plymouth Church is taking seriously.

We're introducing the Taskforce on Reparative Action (TORA) — a new group charged with recommending a long-term reparative action plan for our congregation.

TORA will spend this summer and fall learning, listening, and discerning — with a report to our Board of Finance and Administration by November and a congregation-wide decision anticipated in 2027, as Plymouth marks its 170th anniversary.

We invite you in and hope you will join us in the “and” work as we align our Mission and Margin. Go to Plymouth.org to learn more about TORA and sign up to stay informed.

❄️❄️Show Update ❄️❄️

If GRUMPY OLD MEN teaches us anything, it's about how life often doesn't go as planned. And just like in life, sometimes things come up that don't go as planned, including our scheduled opening night. We've made the decision to move our opening night to Saturday, April 4th in order to make sure the performance you see on stage matches the quality you've come to expect from Minneapolis Musical Theatre.

If you would like to reschedule your tickets for a different performance, please let us know! We are happy to exchange your tickets for free. Other performance dates and times can be found at https://ticketpeak.com/go/MMT/events. If you are unable to attend another performance, please let us know and your tickets will be refunded.

Thank you for your support of Minneapolis Musical Theatre. Performances run from April 4–19 at the Conn Theatre in Minneapolis. More information at aboutmmt.org

🍽️ Our neighbors need us! Join the KARE 11 Restaurant Rally April 18–25 and show some love to local restaurants rebuilding after Operation Metro Surge.

📺 Tune in to KARE 11 on Saturday, April 18, to see which restaurants are featured — then make a plan to dine out and show up for our community!

Consider a pre- or post-service breakfast or brunch on Eat Street on Sunday, April 19, or at any time that week. Small choices make a big difference. 🙌
