TACO TOUR IS BACK — SEPTEMBER 19!

Celebrate Lake Street and support the Latinx-owned businesses that make our neighborhood amazing. Two ways to join Holy Trinity:

Take the Tour: Walk or bike Lake Street with a small group, stopping for tacos along the way. Only 10 spots per group, so register now on Realm!

Join the Party: Head to El Nuevo Campo from 4–8 p.m. for tacos, live music, art, and screen printing (bring a tote bag!).

However you join us, come hungry.

Sunday Worship with Holy Communion

Discipleship is not about perfection. It is about showing up day after day and building muscle memory for love. We need each other not because we are incomplete, but because we are knit together in mutuality. What is one small act of love you can practice this week that will strengthen that muscle?

Taco tours, a community mural, choirs, faith formation, and Oktoberfest at Arbeiter. That's just September.

We published our full detailed community calendar for Fall 2026, and it has everything in one place: Sunday morning programming for kids and adults, weekly choirs and ringers, a learning trip to White Earth over MEA, the Our Deepest Belonging storytelling project, and plenty of ways to gather in the neighborhood.

If you're new, curious, or just trying to figure out where to plug in, this is the place to start.

There is a sense of connection that happens when people gather in a room to build something beautiful from scratch.

Cantor Phil is currently sorting through piles of sheet music to get the fall season ready for exactly that. If you need a space to breathe, create art, and sing alongside your neighbors, we'll have a folder of music waiting for you. The Adult Choir rehearses on Mondays, and our youth and handbell groups meet up on Wednesdays.

Reach out to Phil to get the details and come add your voice to the mix!

The moment you are certain you have the perfect plan, life inserts a small twist. And that is not a failure. That is an invitation to breathe, to trust, and to try the key one more time in a way you did not expect. Institutions stumble. People stumble. That is a reason to keep walking. Where in your life right now are you finally ready to stop forcing the door and start trusting the path?

Let's unpack the journey.

A group of our post-confirmation youth and adult chaperones recently returned from the Camino de Santiago in Spain. For a community like ours that values asking the hard questions and putting faith into action, their reflections are exactly what we need right now. They hiked 114 kilometers, tackled big concepts about religion, and experienced firsthand how God shows up in communities, strangers, and nature.

Swipe through the graphics to read their takeaways. As a congregation, giving young people the space to explore the world and wrestle with complex ideas is essential to who we are. This is how we support a faith that translates into authentic action out in the world.

Pastor David traveled as one of the chaperones and shared this reflection on the experience:

"This pilgrimage allowed me to see a tiny bit of the arc that is ministry: we point to the seed that the Spirit has sown in individuals, we trust that God waters them through our work, and then we watch them grow into what Jesus makes of them. As I observed our youth, I noticed that they are kind, thoughtful, faith-filled, fun young adults who will soon go out into the world and share Good News that God is Love."

Take a moment to read their words today. When you see these pilgrims at Holy Trinity, reach out and ask them about their trek. The experience is lived differently by each individual, and they have incredible stories to share.
