In June 2001, Pastor Mckizzie and family removed their membership from Redeemer Missionary Baptist Church and started ministering to the elderly at Walker Methodist Nursing Home. He was compelled to spend the last months, of his Grandmother Mary Boone’s life, preaching the gospel and singing hymns of praise to those who had been forgotten. During this Fellowship New Creation Baptist Church was founded.
