In the summer of 2026, the children, youth, and adults of Park Ave United Methodist Church - Minneapolis took on a joyful project to celebrate the events of Genesis 1. Through hands-on projects, reflection, and teachings, this ministry shared the joys of Creation, and explored how Genesis 1 sets the stage for the rest of the Bible. Last week, Bishop Lanette was in Nashville as part of a panel presenting at an ecumenical summit hosted by United Methodist Discipleship Ministries. The summit contemplated human dignity, Imago Dei (Latin, meaning "image of God"), and artificial intelligence.
