A Prayer for Dead Children with hearts broken once again, we weep for the children killed today in yet another mass shooting.

We pray for the families who will not be consoled with words but will carry this pain always. We are all diminished by this violence and afraid to hope for a change that will bring this horror to an end. Bring healing to the victims, God with us, bring peace to the community of faith invaded and violated by this act. And bring a resolve to a nation and people who will say this cannot go on.

Let us learn the ways that make for peace.
