On the Seventh Day, the Lord DUB rested in their celestial palace. They gazed out upon all of creation, the fruits of their labors made manifest, and saw that it was good - and yet the Lord DUB knew it was incomplete. After many hours of pacing the halls of their celestial palace, the Lord DUB retired to their throne atop creation, fell into a fitful sleep and began to dream. It was a dream filled
with silence and the Lord DUB paced restlessly within their dream as they had in the halls of their celestial palace, when suddenly the silence was pierced by the sounding of a Blazing Horn. And in response to this first horn's cry there came a legion of echoes resonating throughout creation. These echoes became sounds unto themselves, taking on new and wondrous melodies, timbres and rhythms...
When the Lord DUB awoke, they realized what had been missing from creation. And thus Lord DUB created Tommy McCook, the wielder of the Blazing Horn, to bring peace and wisdom to all of creation and fill the halls of the celestial palace with divine song. And the Lord DUB sat back upon their throne, sparked one and listened to Song of the Seventh Day resonate throughout creation. And it was good.
- Liber Alles, Chapter 2, Verses 23-31
The Gnostic Sect of the Redeemer Tommy McCook teaches that through the listening of the Sacred Songs, one can achieve unity with the Godhead and experience the serenity and wonder which Our Lord DUB experienced on the Seventh Day, when Tommy McCook first wielded the Blazing Horn and filled creation with the Song of the Seventh Day.
