The Church of the Living God, Pillar and Ground of the Truth, The Light of the World is the restoration of the Primitive Christian Church, it seeks to announce the good news of salvation to the world. It conserves, with invariable fidelity to God, the Government, the Gospel, Doctrine, Sacred Offices, along with the celestial promises, established and given by Jesus Christ, our Savior. It admits as
a member of the Church any person who, fulfilling the requirements for admission, remains in subjection to the Christian doctrine, regardless of race, nationality, age, economic status, level of educational, etcetera. OBJECTIVES:
• To make known to all the message of Spiritual salvation.
• To contribute, through the gospel of Jesus Christ, to the peace among men and among the nations.
• To reconcile man with God and his neighbor, instilling in him the hope of eternal life through the subjection of the Christian doctrine.
• To instill in every person the sense of responsibility in personal, family, civic, and moral aspects. The Light of the World Church establishes three types of principles that govern the life of its members; these principles are religious, moral, and civic. These principles are of a guiding character and do not infringe nor violate, the inalienable rights of every human being. WE BELIEVE in the existence of God, one and universal, as it is established in the 1st book of Kings 8:23 "...there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath..." WE BELIEVE in Jesus Christ, Son of God and Savior of the world, according to the book of Acts 8:37: "…I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." WE BELIEVE as truth that Jesus Christ was conceived by the intervention of the Holy Spirit in the womb of a holy virgin, blessed, whose name was Mary. According to what is established in the book of Luke 1:28 to 35 "…thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS." WE BELIEVE in the Holy Bible as the only and sufficient rule of faith for the salvation of humankind, according to what is established in John 5:39 and the 2nd of Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction and righteousness..." WE BELIEVE in the love of God to be called his Sons, according to what is established in the 1st of John 3:1: " Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us. that we should be called the sons of God..." WE BELIEVE that the death of Jesus Christ vindicates man with God, and because of that sacrifice, humankind is acceptable and pleasant to God, according to the book of John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son..." WE BELIEVE in the vocation of the Servants of God, sent to manifest the will of God and Salvation. Acts 13:47 "...I have set thee to be light of the Gentiles..." WE ACCEPT the baptism in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Acts 2:38: "...Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins..." WE BELIEVE in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as the confirmation that God gives man for the entry to the Kingdom of Heaven. John 3:5 "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." WE BELIEVE in the plan of God for the salvation of all nations, since God does not discriminate any person, race, color, language, political opinion or economic status. 1st Timothy 2:4 "Who will have all men to be saved…"
WE BELIEVE that the persuasion, conviction, and reason are the firmest basis of every creed and faith. Acts 26:28 "...Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian." WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ established a Church, so those that accept his calling may obtain salvation. John 10:16 "...and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd." WE PROCLAIM the second coming of Christ to reward each one according to their works. Luke 21:27 "And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." WE ACKNOWLEDGE the free will of man as a guiding principle of his conduct. WE ACCEPT sincere, honest, and open dialogue which in turn develops our criteria and abilities. WE CONSIDER fanaticism and religious intolerance to be factors that limit the development of countries; consequently, we open our doors to the knowledge that will eradicate poverty, ignorance, vices, and drug abuse. WE BELIEVE in science as a gift from God, whose knowledge should serve the greatest causes of humanity, favoring the progress and development of all countries. WE AFFIRM that all people have the right to freedom of thought, so that they may choose whatever religious creed they please, without suffering any threat or injury for this choice. WE CONSIDER that unnatural rules such as imposing any given civil state, dispossession of goods or threaten family integrity, is contrary to every ethic and moral principle. WE RESPECT the non-discriminating treatment of all believers who enjoy the benefits that they deserve according to the norms of our Church. AS CITIZENS. WE AFFIRM that in the exercise of our constitutional guarantees aids us in the right to integrate into the wider context of society, work, health, and education, without discrimination, limit, or prejudice. WE BELIEVE that governments have been established to deliver justice, punishing the one that dose wrong and protecting the one one who dose good, according to what is established in Romans 13:1 to 5 "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers." WE PRAY for the authorities, for it is a commandment from God to respect all human institutions, according to what is established in the 1st of Timothy 2:1 to 3 "…prayers… be made… for all that are in authority…"
WE ARE obligated as citizens to the fulfillment of all the laws of every country, and to respect and promote the culture and patriotic symbols of every country. WE ACCEPT the respect for life as a divine design. In conclusion, our principles are summarized in the biblical commandment: "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Philippians 4:8
