Is Freedom a Theory or a Practice ?

The backstory is a bit complicated, but the short version is that I fell in love with that country so much, and Kyiv in particular, that I overstayed my VISA. I am an American citizen, and now also an Italian citizen. I visited Ukraine (Kyiv, Odessa, Lviv, Ternopil and other cities) back in 2017 and 2018. in love with Ukraine so much back then that I tried to get a long-stay VISA and was unable to do so. I left the country after about 4 months the first time, which was unfortunate, because that is an overstay (90 days are allowed). The penalty was less than 100 Euros, but I actually had to travel back to the Boryspil airport to pay the fine. Glad I did that because I may still have the opportunity to return depending upon what happen with the war in Ukraine. Not a special operation, a conflict, etc. It is a war, and basically WW III, even though no one wants to deal with such a reality really, except maybe Putin. I'm been posting so much on my personal page that I decided to move most of that over to this page, simply to provide a record of what is transpiring and to maybe help people help each other get through this.
