Family Baptist Church FBC exists to Behold God, Belong to God’s family, and Become disciple making disciples of Jesus.

Worship - we come together to praise our wonderful God for who he is, all he has done, all he is doing, and all he has promised to do. In our worship we seek to joyfully obey the greatest commandment - "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might." Learning - we come together to learn more about God as Pastor Ormiston teaches us from the Bible through hi

s preaching. We learn more about who God is, how God works, and how we should live to best glorify and honor him in our lives. Friendship - we seek to get to know each other and befriend all who come through our doors. We strive to show everyone whether first-time visitor or long time member the love of God in our interactions. Service - through our various ministries and through our daily lives, we strive to serve those around us in order to live out the second greatest commandment - "Love your neighbor as yourself."

Death is painful, and grief is real, but for those who are in Christ, the grave is not the end. Because of the amount of loss our church family has experienced over the past two months, we took a break from our study through Philippians to look at what Scripture teaches us about grief and the hope we have in Christ.

Would you join us in praying that God would do a mighty work in their hearts this week? Pray that they would grow in their love for Christ, be rooted in His Word, and return home changed by the gospel.
