This morning take some time, be in prayer & be with God. ☀️

Gracious and Loving God,

On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember those who gave their lives in service to others and to this nation. We give thanks for the courage, sacrifice, and hope carried by so many who believed in protecting the freedoms and futures of generations they would never meet.

We pray for the families who carry both pride and grief, for veterans whose memories remain close to their hearts, and for all who continue to long for healing after the wounds of war and loss. Surround them with comfort, compassion, and peace.

God of resurrection and new life, remind us that remembrance is more than looking backward. It is a call to live with gratitude, to work for justice, and to become people who seek peace in our communities and throughout the world. Help us honor the fallen not only with words, but with lives rooted in kindness, courage, and love.

As spring unfolds around us and creation blooms anew, may we be reminded that even after seasons of sorrow, hope still rises. May we carry that hope into our neighborhoods, our relationships, and our world. In your holy name we pray, Amen.
