Outgoing Council Chair Lisa Vanderlinden will break open this week's Gospel message for us, Scot and Gretchen Hovan will lead us in song, and so many others will help to make this collaborative service happen. After Liturgy you are invited to a "Saving Space" discussion where there is an opportunity to talk about the readings and Homily.

Frederick Buechner wrote "The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet." That place could even be a laundromat! Recent Homilist Kerry McDonald wrote about being "overwhelmed" by the ICE surge and "guilty" for not acting. Then she thought of how much she loves to do laundry. She began helping immigrant families stuck at home get their clothes clean. Soon others also joined in to help with this overlooked but very necessary chore. Find this Homily and others linked in our Tuesday email Bulletins. See comments for how to sign up.
