Today in Minnesota, Hmong Assemblies of God pastors and leaders gathered for a timely meeting to address current ICE-related concerns affecting our communities.

We came together for worship, devotion, open discussion, and prayer—because in seasons like this, our people are looking to us for calm, clarity, and spiritual leadership.

During our time together, we reaffirmed several important commitments:
• We do not align with any political party; we lead with love through Christ.
• We are committed to peace, wisdom, and non-escalation in all situations.
• Though fear and anxiety are present in our city, we choose to lead with LOVE, FAITH and HOPE rooted in God.
• We trust that God remains in control and knows the plans He has for us.

We also discussed practical leadership considerations, including encouraging churches to develop clear protocols, identify a point of contact for ICE-related matters, remind members to carry proper identification, and approach all encounters with respect and wisdom. Churches were encouraged to prayerfully evaluate their own situations and respond accordingly.

Above all, we were reminded that God has called us to love all people, and that prayer is powerful—because when you don’t know what to do, PRAY!

We want to thank all of our pastors and leaders for faithfully caring for their people during this difficult season. We stand together as co-laborers in Christ, in unity with our Hmong Sectional leadership, choosing NOT to live in fear but to lead with peace, truth, and unity.
