After a long wait, MY J 22 is almost here! While we are excited that we are able to offer this hybrid online and in-person experience, we are also aware that we are in the midst of a spike in COVID-19 cases in many parts of the country and that BIPOC persons are at particular risk for severe disease.
For this reason, it is doubly important that infection control measures be followed. To make this event as safe as possible, we have 3 requests:
1) If your group has not yet received your custom COVID-19 safety plan, please contact our safety director Jessica Davis, RN BSN at [email protected].
2) Please provide attendees with access to N95, KN95, or KF94 masks, which provide exponentially better protection than cloth or surgical masks. They are readily available in most pharmacies and typically cost $10-20/box. If you need assistance in covering the cost, please contact [email protected].
3) Please encourage attendees to test at home for COVID-19 tonight or tomorrow morning before leaving for the event. Anyone with a positive or questionable test should stay at home and join us exclusively online.
