The saga of the September Carillon may be over! Yesterday afternoon I was able to send the form to the Post Office. Pam said they would be in the mail today! Praise God!!!

WELL - a story to tell. The Carillon went to the post office yesterday - and there it sits! To mail it, I have to send the information on line to the post office. I have been doing this for several years now - no problem. Until yesterday. For some reason the link I need to enter the new information will not let me in. With great help from Pam at the Post Office, we now have a service report number, and hopefully they will get it figured out SOON. Until then, the Carillon will not be mailed. Sorry about that, but aside from worrying about it, there is nothing I can do.

Things are drying out - slowly. There are many people who will be dealing with this flood for a long time -- pray for them as they work through the details of furnaces, water heaters, furniture, and those boxes of "saved items" we all think are stored safely away on a lower level.
The church basement is drying out - thanks to very hard work of some of our members. It smells a LOT BETTER this morning!

There will be no service tomorrow at St. John's. We have some water in the basement and still some very flooded streets!
