Hey parents!
Each year, the Assemblies of God hosts Fine Arts for students in 6th–12th grade. Fine Arts is an incredible opportunity for students to discover, develop, and use the gifts and talents God has given them for His glory.
There are over 100 categories students can participate in, including singing, dance, human video, stand-up comedy, preaching, filmmaking, visual art, music production, photography, writing, and much more.
Students first compete at the District Fine Arts Festival, and those who qualify are invited to the National Fine Arts Festival, where they join thousands of students from across the country to showcase their talents and grow in their gifts.
This year's National Fine Arts is happening right here in St. Louis, and I'd love to give our students the opportunity to experience it firsthand. Seeing these performances can inspire them and help them begin preparing for District Fine Arts next April.
I'm planning a day trip to St. Louis tomorrow or Wednesday (depending on interest). The day would include watching performances throughout the festival, exploring the expo hall, and attending the evening youth service.
Trip Details:
* Depart: 8:00 AM from the church
* Return: Approximately 11:00 PM (or later)
* Cost: $25 for a day pass, plus money for meals (about $50 total is recommended). Students are welcome to bring extra spending money if they'd like to shop in the expo hall or visit the college booths.
If your student is interested and available, please let me know as soon as possible, as spots are limited.
