A cheerful giver! There is still time to return the penny jars for our 150th celebration! We have more jars at the children's check in desk if your child has not yet received one on Sunday morning.

This morning our MCC Kids received bottles to collect 150 pennies for our 150th Celebration on November 3rd. 150 pennies for 150 years! Bottles may be returned to the MCC check-in desk on or before November 3rd. A basket will be at the desk. The filled bottles will be part of a special offering on November 3rd.

We hope your kids will join us on The Great Jungle Journey for VBS July 15-18. Kids aged 3 through those entering 6th grade are welcome to attend. Registration can be found on the church website and at the link below.

Hello, everyone! Hope you had a Merry Christmas! Kids who are 3 years old through 5th grade will be singing a song at church this morning, if they would like to join us. We've been practicing during kids' church time. The "theme" is wintery, so if they have a stocking cap, scarf or gloves to wear, that would be great! No worries if they show up without it. :)

We are so fortunate to have Little Galilee Christian Camp so close to us! If your child is entering 2nd through 6th grades (in fall 2023), we would like to gather information on your interest to see if we can coordinate weeks when students attend together (as a parent whose kid went with a friend last year, the buddy system made me and my kiddo feel a lot better about going!). This form is not a commitment to attend. It is simply information-gathering. Please let Rachel Birkey know if you have any questions.

Hi, everyone! Our MCC Kids Team met yesterday, and one point of discussion was the idea of passing along some resources to parents that might be useful for you! So, let's start with music. Here are a few suggestions, and PLEASE add your suggestions below!

If you're just wanting some music that is fun to listen to, my kids really like Toby Mac (especially his remixed, more EDM-style songs like from Eye'M All Mixed Up), and one of my favorite songs is Jordan Feliz's Jesus Is Coming Back.

If you're wanting to help your kids tuck Scripture away in their hearts (and maybe you're wanting to do that, too), Seeds Family Worship has 170 songs that are Scripture set to music. And you can access it for FREE through Right Now Media. Right Now Media is an awesome resource that you can access through MCC here: (https://www.miniercc.org/resources).

Hello! MCC Kids has some exciting things coming up in 2023. First up is CIY SuperStart at Eastview in Normal on February 24-25. SuperStart is for students in 4th - 6th grades.
