SMAK is a fun filled, Christian based week long summer program!! We have been going strong for over 20 yrs and are very excited about this years program!! We have a lot of exciting things planned for both groups, such as music, bible activities, crafts, snacks/lunch, recreation, and the older kids will have a few extra things such as missions, stem and a special activity that is planned for one day of the week. At the end of the week, on Friday night, we will be performing the musical "The Good News Cruise". We would love for your child/children to join us. Please keep an eye out for the registration link coming soon.

These water bottles were left at the church this past week. If they are yours please claim them ASAP. The church hours are Mon-Thur 8:00-4:00 and Fridays until 12:00 pm.

UPDATE:
As you know the weather is not cooperating very well....lol....we have canceled tomorrow nights practices just as a precautionary measure, it is supposed to refreeze and that means the roads will still be dangerous to travel on.
As of right now we will still have practice on Thur night.

PICTURE SCHEDULE UPDATE:
Thurs night teams will still do pictures during practice

Sat the following teams will take pictures:
SNAKES @ 10:45
SHARKS @ 11:00
BADGERS @ 11:15
BEARS @ 11:30

Please be understanding that we are doing the best we can to make this work with our photographers schedule. Please be early, in case we are running ahead of schedule.

UPDATE!!!!!
Hey there! Hope you are all staying warm on this icy/snowy Saturday! I do have information for you about next week! I have heard we are supposed to get snow, but no ice and as long as we do not get ice and the roads are clear, we will proceed as usually for camp and games.

CAMP will have pictures next Saturday, January 31st. We will do 2nd and 3rd grade pictures from 8:05 am - 9:15 am and then they will come back and play their game. Then we will take the Kinder and 1st graders to pictures and parents may follow us, we will begin their pictures about 9:20 until we are finished. Picture forms will be available if you have lost yours or need another one, all players receive a free picture, so we want everyone to take one and they will also take a team picture. We accept checks and cash only. If you have a league player another email will be sent separately about their games and pictures.

LEAGUE will do pictures during practices next week, if we do not have practices on Monday, due to the road condition those teams will take their pictures Saturday, January 31st. Snickering Snakes will be at 10:45 and Boisterous Bears at 11:30. Coaches will let you know if there is practice or not on Monday, as we figure out road conditions.
I emailed everyone a copy of the updated schedule for the makeup games, it will not let me post it correctly here, and you will also receive a paper copy at practice next week.

Due to the possibilities of inclement weather on Saturday, we have decided to cancel CAMP and GAMES. I realize pictures were scheduled for that day, but I am working with our photographer and we are trying very hard to create a new date/schedule as soon as possible and when I have that ready you will be notified, possibly by this weekend! Please know we will not be making up this missed CAMP day, but the leagues will make up the missed game and when that date has been determined we will let you know. Thank you for your understanding, your safety is our first concern and we don't want ANYONE driving or walking on the ice.

J316 Basketball is looking for refereees for our 4th-6th grade league games. They are every Sat starting the Jan 17th and they end Feb 28th. Game times are 10:00, 11:00 and 12:00 p.m. and it is a volunteer position. You do not have to ref every game but as many as possible would be great! We will allow HS age kids to ref as long as there is one adult on the court with them. Please let me know if you or anyone you know can help us out. PLEASE SHARE!!
