Due to the bad weather and below freezing temperatures forecasted for this weekend, there will be no morning or evening services on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

We will have play time and banana splits for the children this evening at 6 pm before regular class time at 7 pm.

Parents can drop your children off at 6 pm and then stay for regular class at 7 pm.

Good morning and happy Lord's day! "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple." (Ps 27:1-4)

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Rom 8:1) Notice the location "In Christ Jesus" no one of accountable age this side of the cross will be saved outside of the body of Christ which is his church (Eph 1:22-23). How do we become "in Christ"? I'm glad you asked!
"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." (Gal 3:26-29) Have a great day!

Good morning and happy Lord's day! You are always welcome at the North Oak church of Christ. 9:30am Bible class 10:30 worship and Potluck following morning worship and we will meet immediately after for afternoon services usually about 1:30-2:00. "O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice." (Ps 63:1-7)

The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD." (Lam 3:22-26)
