We are going to get back to some basics again for Wednesday Night. The new worship format is coming together nicely. Come join us on September 15 at 6pm for prayer and support and good conversation.

Tonight has been cancelled. We will be back next week. We'll have a slightly different format... no meal at this time. And we'll reduce our fellowship time. Masks required for the time being.

See you next week. Stay safe and connected.

Well, we didn't get our dinner plans completed and life just got in the way for some time. But we are starting again for the year tonight at 6:00 pm. We also discovered that holding a big dinner was a dream too far to reach at this time. We still want to make it a reality, we just need more time and volunteers.

If you are not familiar with Wed House Church, then keep reading. We are a small group of folks who want to worship in a non-traditional way. We love Jesus, want others to know and love Jesus, and desire to serve our community that shares this love. Each Wednesday night we gather to eat, fellowship, commune, and share a Jesus moment (short Bible lesson/devotional). We are open and affirming. Meaning, whoever you are, you are welcome. Most of the time we share a homecooked meal or order out. Eventually, we want to share one Wednesday night a month with the whole community - the Free Dinner! (It's just a larger scale of our normal routine, although we hope it becomes something more.)

We don't require, request, or recruit for members in this group - we just want to share in life and love with our neighbors. If this is something you want to participate in, just show up. Yes, it is at the First Christian Church in Mineral Wells, TX. Come to the fellowship door for entry (east side with the circle drive).

Hope to see you tonight or in the near future!!!

We are planning on doing something a little different in a couple of weeks - dinner outside! We will be grilling some hamburgers and hot dogs and serve them with some good homemade sides. In other words, we are going to resume our dinners again! There will be some yard games for the kids, a short devotional to those who want to hear it, and good fellowship. We will morph this into something bigger over the summer. So, mark your calendars for May 19 and May 26 at 6:00 pm.

Stories like these are primarily why we began this House Church. It is our hope that we can create a community where people from all walks of life (whatever label you may be carrying), can walk together in faith and mission together. This video is a great story of the importance of relationships, honesty, and hope.

Tonight, we will have a great discussion and dialogue about Jesus, seen through the lens of historians. I think you will enjoy this one!

Well House Church, we seem to be having difficulties in getting back into a habit of attending on a regular basis that it is disrupting the flow of our current study. Therefore, Pastor Brian will discontinue the study for a more flexible approach to share and to grow with each other. We will take one topic at a time, meaning, you never know what is going to be discussed until you get here (just kidding). Pastor Brian will advertise the topic on this page for all to see and maybe gather some thoughts, friends, and be engaged. We will no longer cancel a night based on attendance, except in some rare instances due to weather, sickness, or community-involved event. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday night.

We are still not holding our meal together at this time. We hope to begin our dinners again soon.

If you are unfamiliar with this group, we are a group that decided to open our doors to anyone who wants to have a spiritual conversation, be a part of a genuine community, but does not want a "full" church experience or asked to join. Therefore, we don't ask you to "become a member." We do want you to be family. This is an open and affirming group, a safe place for those hurt by "religious" folks, and a great group for seekers. There is a small group for children if they come; however, we will try to do things together as much as possible.

Folks, join us tonight for the Holy Thursday service with Tenebrae at 7 pm. And/or the Good Friday service at 7 pm tomorrow.

We will be meeting tonight @ 6 pm! Bring your Bible and small notebook for journaling. More information at the meeting.

We are contemplatively studying "The Universal Christ," written by Richard Rohr. If you have children that won't be joining the main group, please let us know. There is a children's program available. The group will not meet for more than an hour.

Looking forward to Wednesday night! If you have the book, read Chapter 1 and 2. If not, don't worry, we'll highlight some of the main points. Peace be with you!

Looking forward to tonight! It has been a long time since we have been together and there will be a short time to get acquainted again. I just want to remind those coming tonight, we will be masked and socially distanced. There will be a children's program (for ages 3 to 10ish) while the older ones study (yes, younger ones who want to participate can). No meal (which is a bummer).

Our first session will focus on an introduction to Richa Rohr's book, "The Universal Christ." Some materials will be provided.

See you all at 6:00 pm in the Covenant Room!

One week to re-gathering our Wednesday Night House Church in study and in prayer! Yes, we are starting Wednesday, January 27 @ 6:00 p.m. Our study group will start with Father Richard Rohr's book, "The Universal Christ." If you want to read the book, please purchase one before February 3. Pastor Brian will have group guides available for participants.

WNHC@FCC is an open and affirming worship/study group and welcomes all people who are curious and passionate about growing in Christ. Space is limited to 10 adults and 5 children due to church COVID guidelines. Masks and social distancing will be observed. Children will have a separate lesson with Jennifer!

We look forward to seeing you next week!
