We know that the first couple of days back to school can be a lot that’s why we planned this color powder night this Wednesday night to kick off youth the right way!

WEAR WHITE THIS WEDNESDAY FOR OUR COLOR POWDER GAMES AND WAR!

For all 6th-12th Graders in the surrounding areas!

Last night our students jumped into a new series called known!

Here’s the Recap!

Matthew 16 shows us how our identity can only truly be found once we know who Jesus is! Jesus asked the disciples who do the people say I am? Then asked his disciples!

Peter answered that He was the son of the living God! Jesus then spoke to Peter and who He is!

• In order to know who we are, we must know who God is!

The more time we are around Jesus the more we get to see who Jesus is, we go from knowing about Jesus to knowing Jesus!

The people knew about Jesus, the disciples Knew who He was! There’s a difference in knowing about and knowing someone!

• When we surround and spend more time with Jesus, We begin to know who He truly is!

Then from drawing near to Gods heart we find out who we are!

• We find out who we are, when we identify who Jesus is in our lives!

We are known by a God that loves us and sent His one and only son Jesus to die for our sins! We don’t need to be known by the world when we are already known by a loving God!

We want to know God deeper so then we can know who we are called to be!

We can’t wait for week 2 next week!
